The Bluebirds go National!
NAMI of the Wood River Valley is proud to announce that we’ve been chosen to present at the NAMI National Conference! Our teen support group, the Bluebirds, is the first group in the nation working with teens in middle schools and high schools.
These trips can be expensive, especially since one of us is a growing teenager who needs to eat a lot. Please consider donating to help us spread the word about our good work in the valley!
“Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah” Bluebirds High School
11:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m. – Young Adult
The Bluebirds are a high school support group that
meets once a week for activities such as creating vision
boards, walking dogs, skiing, carving pumpkins, and
decorating cookies. This activity-based support group is
an anonymous safe space for teens to come together and
talk about their trials and tribulations.
